The Sequassen Alumni Association holds two Member Meetings each year, one in spring and one in fall, where alumni help guide the direction of the organization. These meetings allow members to vote on funding camp improvement projects, review budgets, select new alumni merchandise, and address other important business that supports Camp Sequassen.

It’s crucial that members attend, as these meetings are the best way to stay informed, share opinions, and ensure every voice is heard. Active participation helps shape decisions, strengthens transparency, and keeps the Alumni Association moving forward with the support and insight of its members.

Frequently Asked Questions

General Member Meetings are open gatherings where Sequassen Alumni Association members come together to receive updates, discuss ongoing projects, share ideas, and help guide the direction of the organization.

All members of the Sequassen Alumni Association are welcome to attend. Prospective members or supporters interested in learning more about the association may also join as observers.

Meetings are held twice a year — one in the spring and one in the fall.

Meetings typically include updates on camp improvement projects, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, financial reports, committee updates, and potential bylaw changes.

In even‑numbered years, the fall meeting also includes officer elections

General Member Meetings are usually held at Camp Sequassen. Virtual participation options are also offered so members can join remotely during the meeting. Virtual meeting invites are included on the meeting announcement.

Registration is not always required, but some meetings — especially those involving bylaw revisions, major votes, elections, or meetings that include food and refreshments — may ask attendees to RSVP. Details are always included in the meeting announcement.
